01 What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They serve various purposes — keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, measuring how the site is used. Some are essential; many are not.
Related technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels. We treat all of them the same way for privacy purposes.
Plain language
A cookie is just a tiny piece of text saved by your browser when you visit a site. The site uses it to remember things between visits. Some sites use cookies for legitimate reasons (login state). Others use them to track you across the web for ads. We do the first kind, not the second.
02 What we use them for.
On mindcraft.solutions, we use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes only:
- Essential site function — making sure the site works (e.g. remembering your dark/light preference if we add one)
- Privacy-respecting analytics — counting visitors and page views in aggregate, with no personal identifiers
We do not use cookies for:
- Behavioural advertising or retargeting
- Cross-site tracking
- Building advertising profiles about you
- Selling data to third parties
- Any purpose where you'd reasonably expect us to ask first
Translation
You will not see our content following you around the web. You will not get retargeted ads on Instagram. We don't have a Facebook Pixel; we don't run Google Ads tracking; we have actively chosen against the standard "growth" toolkit because it requires surveilling you.
03 The categories on our site.
Essential cookies
Required for the site to work. These don't track you and don't need consent. We try to keep these to an absolute minimum.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Help us understand which pages people read, where visitors come from, and how the site performs. We use Plausible Analytics, an EU-based, GDPR-friendly service that doesn't use any cookies at all by default — it works through aggregated, IP-anonymised page-view counts.
What we don't have
The categories below are common on commercial sites but absent from ours: marketing/advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, session replay tools, and fingerprinting scripts. None. Zero.

05 Third-party cookies.
The third-party services we use that may set cookies (or local storage) on this site:
- Cloudflare — security, DDoS protection, performance. Privacy-friendly cookies only. Their policy.
- Google Fonts — to load typefaces. Loads fonts from Google's CDN; does not set cookies on this site, but Google receives your IP address. Google's policy.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics. Cookieless by default; minimal session storage if you opt in. Their policy.
Outbound links to Anthropic's documentation (where Claude API features are referenced), or platforms like Meta/Messenger and WhatsApp for direct contact, send you to those services with their own privacy and cookie practices. We have no control over their cookies.
06 How to control cookies.
You have multiple ways to control cookies:
On our site
The first time you visit, you'll see a small banner asking whether you'd like to opt into analytics. You can change your choice any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer. Essential cookies cannot be disabled (they're required for the site to function and don't track you).
In your browser
All major browsers let you block, delete, or restrict cookies. Instructions for the most common browsers:
You can also use browser-level privacy tools and extensions (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, etc.) — they work fine with our site.
Note
If you block essential cookies, parts of the site may not work properly. The opt-in cookies have no impact on functionality if blocked.
07 Do Not Track & GPC.
We honour:
- Do Not Track (DNT) — if your browser sends a DNT signal, we treat it as a request not to load analytics, regardless of your previous opt-in.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — recognised as a valid opt-out signal under California law and treated the same as DNT.
08 Changes to this policy.
We update this policy when our cookie practices change. Adding any new cookie or service requires a policy update before deployment. The "last updated" date is refreshed each time. Material changes (new categories of cookies, new third-party services with tracking) get a banner notification on the site.
